Belgium Destroys Shipment of Miller High Life Citing That "The Champagne of Beer" Slogan is a Lie

Belgium is not fucking around.

The country recently destroyed an entire shipment of Miller High Life, claiming the beer's slogan touting their drink as the 'champagne of beer' is false advertising.

In total, 2,352 Miller High Lifes were destroyed by Belgian customs after Comité Champagne claimed the slogan infringes on the protected designation of bubbly wine.

So next time you're overseas and need a cold Miller High Life, pray you don't find yourself in Belgium, because you'll have to settle for a Bush instead.
